Andy knows first-hand just how important it is to stay calm and act quickly in a medical emergency after a scary experience with his 5 year old son. Andy is passionate about the power and importance of learning first aid. He believes that Learning first aid is a ‘must have’ essential life skill and people need to be able to do something positive and practical to increase the chances of recovery or ultimately, to save a life.
Laura is a mum of two who has worked in the classroom as a teacher, and works with clients as a Reflexologist. As a result of this, she is passionate about the value of First Aid in a range of environments. She wants knowledge to be power, and aims to ensure anyone - whatever their confidence level - is able to leave one of her classes knowing they can make a difference and literally save lives.
As a primary and secondary school teacher, Samantha has dealt with a range of first-aid situations. First-aid training gave Samantha the confidence to respond quickly and calmly to a medical emergency within the classroom and she saw first-hand how valuable learning these skills can be. In addition to gaining the knowledge and confidence to deal with medical emergencies, she has also found a new passion in first aid and home safety. Samantha is thrilled to be working as a Mini First Aid trainer to teach these vital lifesaving skills to all ages in a fun and interactive way. She loves being able to help others feel more confident and competent in dealing with any potential first-aid situations that they may be faced with.
